Recently, our institute has held, on a one‑on‑one basis with each department under its jurisdiction, quarterly production and operations coordination meetings for the first quarter of 2022. These meetings reviewed the progress made in production and operations during the quarter, conveyed the spirit of relevant group (bureau) meetings, analyzed the current situation, and outlined plans for the next phase of work.
In the first quarter of this year, despite a complex epidemic situation and other adverse factors, Shandong Institute responded proactively and took decisive action, effectively balancing epidemic prevention and control with production and operations. As a result, business performance got off to a stable start, with key economic indicators posting year-on-year growth. Corporate reforms continued to deepen, the epidemic situation remained under control, and workplace safety was maintained, ensuring that all areas of work sustained a steady yet progressive momentum.
The symposium also served as a candid dialogue session, during which the hospital’s leadership extensively solicited employees’ views on issues ranging from institutional reform and development to enterprise-wide marketing and individual concerns. Participants spoke enthusiastically, offering constructive suggestions and insights, and, driven by a strong sense of mission and responsibility, put forward well‑grounded recommendations for the hospital’s reform, development, and operational performance. The leadership listened attentively and responded proactively, fostering a lively atmosphere that effectively strengthened the bond between management and staff.
At the meeting, the institute’s leadership emphasized that, in recent years, the Shandong Institute has achieved remarkable results in all areas thanks to the strong leadership and meticulous guidance of the Group (Bureau), the hard work and dedicated efforts of all cadres and employees, as well as the favorable conditions of harmony and stability and the positive atmosphere for pursuing innovation and entrepreneurship. Looking ahead, we must continue to uphold the spirit of “staying true to our original aspiration, jointly planning development, sharing achievements, and co‑creating the future,” firmly anchoring ourselves to our goals, working diligently and forging ahead with courage, and translating these principles into concrete actions to build a first‑class functional department, a first‑class business team, and a first‑class state‑owned geological exploration enterprise. To this end, we will focus on the following key tasks: First, elevate our political awareness, strengthen training in political theory and professional expertise, and effectively translate the outcomes of such learning into enhanced personal competence and operational capabilities; second, intensify market development, refine incentive mechanisms for company‑wide marketing efforts, and strive to achieve all annual targets and objectives; third, prioritize unity and collaboration, continuously fostering a development environment characterized by solidarity, harmony, and stability, so that employees can derive greater satisfaction and a stronger sense of fulfillment from reform and development; fourth, deepen foundational management, conscientiously fulfill our responsibilities, and raise the level of compliance‑based management and operational efficiency; and fifth, reinforce epidemic prevention and control as well as workplace safety, overcome complacency and laxity, and ensure full and rigorous implementation of all pandemic‑prevention measures and safety regulations.
