On April 7, Shang Honglin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and Director of the Group (Bureau), visited the Xiaomi Innovation Research Center of Mingda Ocean Company and the integrated design-and-construction project for the Future Industrial Park’s soil‑retaining and slope‑stabilization works to conduct on-site inspections and provide guidance. Liu Xingwang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Manager, and Deputy Director; Chen Haiyong, Member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant; Tian Li, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Deputy Director; and Diao Haizhong, also a Member of the Party Committee, accompanied him on the visit.
Shang Honglin and his delegation listened to a briefing from the project team on the status of Party building, project management, epidemic prevention and control, and workplace safety, and then conducted an on-site inspection and provided guidance at the construction site.
Shang Honglin commended Mingda Ocean Company’s project management efforts and outlined four key requirements: First, strengthen Party building, leveraging its pivotal role in advancing project management, construction quality, and operational performance, while ensuring the project team’s Party organization serves as a robust stronghold and Party members exemplify leadership and exemplary conduct. Second, rigorously implement the safety production responsibility system, reinforce hierarchical accountability, and prioritize construction safety; draw on advanced management practices to enhance internal management capabilities. Third, uphold the customer-first marketing philosophy, fully embrace the responsibilities of a central state-owned enterprise, aggressively expand market presence, and use high‑quality construction to drive secondary and tertiary sales opportunities. Fourth, tighten project cost control, continuously improve profitability, and ensure tangible economic benefits are realized.
Zhang Jinsong, Director of the Group (Bureau) General Office, along with He Bin, Chairman of Mingda Ocean Company; Song Shikun, General Manager; Meng Chao and Wang Liang, Deputy General Managers; and relevant officials from the project department, accompanied the inspection.
