In the vibrant month of March, spring is in full bloom, and women’s blossoms vie for fragrance. As International Women’s Day approaches, our hospital has organized a series of celebratory events to honor the most beautiful “her.”
Early on the morning of March 8, the leadership of our institute visited each department at the grassroots level, personally presenting fresh flowers and carefully selected, exquisite books to every female staff member on duty. Amid a festive atmosphere filled with the rich fragrance of blossoms and the subtle aroma of literature, the event was officially launched. “The scent of books enriches youth, and reading brings joy to life.” Each beautiful flower and every timeless book conveyed Shandong Institute’s heartfelt holiday greetings and best wishes to its female employees, eliciting waves of delight and admiration. With smiles as radiant as blooms, everyone felt the warmth and care emanating from Shandong Institute.
Following that, at the “Crafting a Beautiful Life with Skillful Hands” digital oil-painting workshop, female employees gathered to experience DIY digital painting, exchanging ideas on color mixing, composition, and technique, and fully unleashing their imagination and creativity. For a while, the conference room was filled with laughter and cheerful chatter, each woman beaming with joy, creating an exceptionally warm and festive atmosphere. After two hours, vibrant, colorful oil paintings came to life on canvas, and everyone posed for photos holding their own creations, capturing these cherished moments. This rich and varied artistic experience not only allowed the women to savor the pleasure of creative expression, enriching their leisure time and helping them unwind from the stresses of work, but also strengthened camaraderie through shared laughter, enabling each participant to deeply feel the joy and happiness brought by the holiday—and further enhancing their sense of well-being.
The year 2022 marks a pivotal period for our institute as we deepen reform and tackle tough challenges, while also continuing to advance the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan. The development of Shandong Institute would not have been possible without the active participation and concerted efforts of all our staff. This series of celebrations for International Women’s Day underscores our institute’s care and concern for our female employees, further strengthening team cohesion and unity. Moving forward, our female colleagues will strive even harder, fully demonstrating their indispensable role in all areas of work and showcasing the inspiring spirit of “women holding up half the sky.”
