Recently, the Research Association for Party Building and Ideological‑Political Work of the China National Bureau of Coal Geology officially announced the results of its 2021 selection for outstanding research achievements and exemplary organizations in project research. Our bureau was honored as an outstanding organization for project research in 2021. Furthermore, the project we submitted, “Making Effective Use of Red Resources to Empower State‑Owned Enterprise Reform: A Practical Study,” won first prize in the 2021 category for research achievements in party building and ideological‑political work. Additionally, “A Brief Discussion on How Grassroots Party Building and Production‑Operational Work Can Achieve Synergies Greater Than the Sum of Their Parts” and “An Analysis of Ways to Inspire Cadres and Employees to Demonstrate Enthusiasm for Entrepreneurship and Achievement” each received third prize for research achievements.
Research on Party building and ideological‑political work is a pioneering and foundational endeavor in the cause of Party building. Strengthening research on these issues is essential for Party organizations within enterprises to maintain their advanced character and enhance their leadership capabilities. Our bureau attaches great importance to leveraging the role of such research, and since 2019 has established the Sinochem Mingda Research Association for Employee Ideological and Political Work. The association has actively explored the characteristics and underlying principles of ideological‑political work in state‑owned enterprises under the new circumstances, continuously refining and broadening its approaches and pathways for organizing research projects. In recent years, the quality of its research has steadily improved, yielding a growing number of high‑quality outcomes.
This award represents significant recognition of our bureau’s work in Party building and ideological‑political research, as well as of the researchers who have undertaken these projects. The Sinochem Mingda Research Association on Ideological and Political Work will continue to uphold a problem‑oriented, practice‑oriented, and reform‑oriented approach—grounded in studying and implementing relevant policies, supported by policy research, and aimed at serving the overall national agenda. It will intensify its efforts to explore and address the overarching, strategic, and pressing issues facing Party building and ideological‑political work within central state‑owned enterprises, further enhancing the intellectual depth, forward‑looking perspective, and targeted relevance of its investigations. Moreover, it will place greater emphasis on translating outstanding research findings into practical applications, thereby fulfilling its roles as a “think tank” and an “advisory body,” and providing robust ideological guidance, theoretical underpinning, and intellectual support for Sinochem Mingda’s high‑quality development.
