On February 15, Jiang Bo, head of the Mineral Surveying and Mapping Management Section of the Taishan District Bureau of Natural Resources in Tai’an City, along with one other colleague, visited our Tai’an Geological Branch to conduct a safety inspection.

The inspection team conducted a item-by-item review of the safety production documentation submitted by the Tai’an Geological Branch, with particular emphasis on inquiring about our institute’s 2022 fieldwork plan for the urban geological survey project in the urban area of Tai’an City. Following the inspection, the team commended our institute’s safety production efforts and recommended that we, in accordance with the requirements outlined in the municipal bureau’s documents, successfully carry out the “First Lesson of the Year” activities for 2022; submit prior notifications to the competent geological exploration authorities in the work areas before commencing field operations under the urban geological survey project; and rigorously implement all safety measures during fieldwork to ensure that field activities are conducted safely and in an orderly manner.

Wu Shumeng, Director of the Tai’an Geological Branch of our institute, expressed his gratitude for the valuable comments and recommendations offered by the inspection team. He stated that the institute will attach great importance to these inputs, firmly uphold the principle of safe development, promptly organize the 2022 “First Lesson Upon Commencement” training session, and, in accordance with the requirements set forth in the municipal bureau’s documents and under the guidance and supervision of the competent authorities, diligently carry out all safety‑production tasks to ensure a year free of accidents.
