On the occasion of the 2022 Spring Festival, on January 26, Wang Qingfeng, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Committee and Vice President (in charge of daily operations), together with Chief Engineer Peng Mingzhang, on behalf of the Institute’s Party and administrative leadership, extended warm New Year greetings and heartfelt regards via video link to two employees—Yang Weihong and Zhang Xianfeng—who remained on duty at the grouting project site in the Nongbo Potash–Magnesium Salt Mine in Khammouane Province, Laos, as well as to all members of the project team. Through them, they also conveyed their profound respect and sincere gratitude to the families of the institute’s staff who have quietly supported and contributed to the institute’s work.
During the video conference, Wang Qingfeng inquired in detail about the frontline workers’ work and living conditions, epidemic prevention and control measures, and the progress of ongoing projects. He highly commended their admirable spirit—unafraid of difficulties and resolute in tackling challenges—both in managing the pandemic and ensuring project production. He also expressed strong appreciation for their selfless dedication to putting the greater good above personal interests, while urging them to rigorously implement all epidemic‑prevention protocols, take thorough personal protective measures, and safeguard their health and safety. At the same time, he encouraged them to actively embody the core value of “customer first,” further strengthen communication with clients, and vigorously promote the “Four Specials” spirit, thereby ensuring both project timelines and quality, and striving to “build a monument and establish a brand with every project” to uphold Shandong Institute’s reputation as a high‑quality player in the international geological market.
Yang Weihong and Zhang Xianfeng, on behalf of the project team, expressed their gratitude for the institute’s leadership’s care and concern, stating that they will remain steadfast in their resolve, overcome all challenges, rigorously implement all epidemic prevention and control measures, and vigorously advance the project’s construction. They pledged to ensure the high-quality completion of all assigned tasks, thus living up to the institute’s leadership’s support and expectations.
