Our institute has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shandong Zhonglian Mining Co., Ltd.


On January 11, a delegation of five, including Wei Zhenhao, Deputy Director of the Natural Resources Bureau of Pingyin County, Jinan City, and Xu Jian, General Manager of Shandong Zhonglian Mining Co., Ltd., paid a visit to our institute. They were accompanied by Wang Qingfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President (in charge of daily operations), Yang Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, Peng Mingzhang, Chief Engineer, and Dong Yan, Director of the Hydrogeology and Environmental Institute, who jointly held a symposium.

At this meeting, in-depth discussions were held on strengthening pragmatic cooperation with Shandong Zhonglian Mining Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhonglian Mining), resulting in broad consensus and the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement.

Wang Qingfeng extended a warm welcome to Wei Zhenhao, Xu Jian, and their delegation. He stated that, with the strong support of the Natural Resources Bureau of Pingyin County, Jinan City, both sides should further deepen their cooperation in technical services and mining operations, leveraging our institute’s strengths in human resources, technology, and equipment to advance, in an orderly manner, activities such as mineral resource exploration and development, ecological restoration of mining areas, and green mine construction. This will enable mutually beneficial outcomes, provide high‑level support for economic and social development, and make new contributions to the building of an ecological civilization.

Wei Zhenhao extended his congratulations on the signing of the cooperation agreement between our institute and Zhonglian Mining, while emphasizing that both parties should intensify their collaboration, deepen its scope, innovate their approaches, and enhance their capacity for innovation. He called for strengthened cooperation in areas such as green and harmonious mine development and carbon neutrality, with the aim of advancing the industry. Xu Jian outlined Zhonglian Mining’s key achievements to date and its strategic objectives for the future, noting that in recent years the company has established a solid foundation of cooperation with Shandong Institute, accumulating extensive experience across various fields. Moving forward, he stated that by forging long-term, stable partnerships and developing robust collaborative models, the two entities will leverage their respective strengths in geography, capital, and platforms to underpin business expansion and achieve mutually beneficial, shared growth.

The signing of the cooperation agreement will fully leverage the distinctive strengths of both our institute and Shandong Zhonglian Mining Co., Ltd., strengthen exchanges and communication, and pool complementary resources. Taking this opportunity, our institute will steadily enhance its technical service capabilities, advance industrial expansion, actively implement the 14th Five-Year Plan, contribute to the “dual carbon” goals, and propel the high-quality development of our institution.
