Recently, the Earthquake and Geological Disaster Rescue Department of the National Emergency Management Ministry sent a letter of gratitude to our institute, fully commending and highly praising the outstanding performance of Comrade Hou Xinxing, a member of our staff, during his secondment to the department’s Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Guidance Division. The letter also expressed sincere appreciation for the substantial support our institute has provided to the department’s work.

This marks the second time our institute has received a letter of appreciation from the Earthquake and Geological Disaster Rescue Department of the National Emergency Management Ministry since last year.

To support the development of the national emergency rescue system for geological and geohazard-related disasters, our institute has, for two consecutive years, dispatched its core technical personnel to assist the Earthquake and Geohazard Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Management in carrying out geohazard‑related emergency management tasks. These efforts have repeatedly earned high praise, reflecting the full recognition by the national geohazard emergency management authorities of our institute’s work ethic and professional technical capabilities. Moving forward, our institute will remain true to its responsibilities and mission, strive to leverage its technical strengths, and safeguard the nation’s ecological and environmental security.
