On May 26, Xu Xiaolian, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the China National Coal Administration, led a delegation to our institute for a fact-finding visit. They listened to reports on the institute’s production and business operations as well as its Party-building efforts, and engaged in in-depth discussions with attendees, soliciting their views and suggestions on the Administration’s work.
　　After hearing the report, Xu Xiaolian fully commended the achievements our institute has made in Party building and business operations amid the pandemic, and set forth specific requirements for future work. First, we must strengthen Party building, continue to leverage its guiding role, and promote the deep integration of Party work with production and operations. Second, we need to coordinate epidemic prevention and control with production and business activities, ensuring the safety of all project personnel, particularly those working on overseas projects. Third, we must focus on key areas to bolster our competitive industrial chains, break free from conventional thinking, shift our mindset, and enhance our core competitiveness. Fourth, we must operate in full compliance with laws and regulations and effectively manage risks. Fifth, we must go all out, innovate our approaches, intensify market development efforts, and continuously expand and strengthen our capabilities.
　　Zhang Hao, Director of the Human Resources Department (Party Committee Organization Department) of the China National Coal Administration; He Qiang, Director of the Market Development Division of the Business Management Department; and Huang Yongming, Director of the Market Development Division of the China National Chemical Engineering Bureau, accompanied the inspection and each offered guiding recommendations on specific aspects of our institute’s work.
