General Administration News | The Xinjiang Regional Team of the National Mine Emergency Rescue Dadi Special Exploration Unit Officially Unveiled

On March 11, the unveiling ceremony for the Xinjiang Regional Team of the National Mine Emergency Rescue Dadi Special Exploration Unit was held in Urumqi. The establishment of this team marks another solid step forward in the China National Bureau of Coal Geology’s endeavor to build itself into a “mainstay of geological exploration, a vanguard of ecological conservation, and a vital force in emergency rescue.”

The Xinjiang Regional Team was jointly established by the China National Coal Geological Bureau’s First Bureau Group and its Hubei Bureau Group. Based in Xinjiang and extending its reach to neighboring areas, it will primarily undertake emergency rescue operations, proactively shift the focus of its work upstream, and participate in the identification and remediation of risks and hazards, thereby effectively integrating prevention with response.

As an important national strategic base for energy and resources, Xinjiang places mine safety at the heart of its overall priorities. Jia Chunqu, Party Secretary of the China National Bureau of Coal Geology and First Political Commissar of the Dadi Special Exploration Mine Emergency Rescue Team, noted that the establishment of this team marks a crucial step in the Bureau’s planning for the 15th Five-Year Plan period and in optimizing the nationwide emergency rescue force deployment.
