We warmly congratulate our institute on being approved as a Level 2 standardized unit for work safety.
On December 22, the Shandong Provincial Emergency Management Department issued an announcement stating that our institute has been approved as a Level-2 standardized unit for work safety.
Since June 2019, our institute has initiated preparatory work for this safety standardization project and formulated the “Safety Production Management Standard of Shandong Geological Exploration Institute of China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau,” which covers 13 management elements, including “objectives and plans, organizational structure and responsibilities, laws and regulations, safety management systems and record-keeping, safety investment, risk management, safety education and training, production equipment and facilities, safety in geological exploration operations, safety inspections and hazard remediation, occupational health, emergency rescue, accident reporting, investigation and handling, as well as performance evaluation and continuous improvement.” We have also promptly refined all relevant record forms and maintained proper documentation in accordance with the operational standards. In March 2020, our institute successfully passed the expert panel review with a score of 83.5, meeting the Level II standard.
Going forward, our hospital will take this achievement in standardization as an opportunity to, in accordance with the comments and recommendations from the evaluation and assessment, thoroughly analyze and rectify existing problems and deficiencies, thereby continuously enhancing our safety management capabilities and elevating the overall level of workplace safety.
