Remembering the martyrs and carrying forward their spirit, we unite our strength to promote development.
To deeply commemorate the revolutionary martyrs, carry forward the red gene, and inspire Party members, cadres, and employees with patriotic spirit and a strong drive to work and start businesses, the First Party Branch and the Party Branch of the Geotechnical Company recently organized a group of Party members to visit the Zhangqiu project site of Shandong Sinochem Geotechnical Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Geotechnical Company) and the Xin Rui Martyrs’ Memorial Hall. Together, they conducted a joint Party‑Work‑Youth League activity themed “Remembering the Martyrs, Carrying Forward the Legacy, and Uniting Strengths to Promote Development.”
First, everyone visited the geological survey construction site of the Zhangqiu Shengquan Advanced Innovative Materials Base project. Zhang Lijun, head of the geotechnical company, provided an overview of the company’s recent operational and production performance, as well as the field‑work schedule for the Qingming Festival period. The on‑site supervisor then gave a detailed briefing on the project’s overall status and the drilling procedures, offering practical insights to the attendees. Party members from the two branch organizations engaged in in‑depth discussions from the perspective of their respective areas of expertise, exchanging views on standards and best practices related to project quality and safety.
During the event, Jia Ruifeng, Chairman of the Institute’s Trade Union, extended his condolences to frontline employees who remained on duty throughout the holiday period. On behalf of the union, he presented gifts such as milk and green tea, expressed gratitude to the veteran drilling team members and young technical personnel for their contributions to the development of the Shandong Institute, and emphasized that safety must always be prioritized during construction, with project tasks to be completed to the highest standards. He also urged the Geotechnical and Logistics Branch to effectively serve as a bridge and liaison, providing thoughtful care and support to frontline workers, so that the trade union can truly become a trusted companion at employees’ side.
Subsequently, everyone proceeded to the Xin Rui Martyr Memorial Hall in Diaozhen Town, Zhangqiu District, located near the project site. Led by a docent, they toured nine thematic exhibition halls—“Distinguished Family and Prominent Clan,” “Inherited Learning and Cultural Nurturing,” “Family Lineage and National Destiny,” “Devotion to the Revolution,” “A Sense of Mission and Responsibility,” “Exhausting Oneself for the Cause,” “Revolutionary Lovers,” “Fighting Across the Daqing Mountains,” and “Loyal Spirits on the Green Hills.” Within the memorial hall, vivid photographs and poignant texts brought to life the brief yet extraordinary life of the anti-Japanese heroine, martyr Xin Rui, guiding each visitor into those tumultuous years of war and enabling them to intimately experience her indomitable national spirit and heroic resolve.
This practical activity was not only a retrospective on history but also a spiritual renewal. Participants unanimously pledged to carry forward the legacy of martyr Xin Rui, remain true to the original aspiration and mission of Communist Party members, and give full play to the Party branch’s role as a strong fighting fortress and to the exemplary and pioneering role of Party members. They also committed to actively promoting the joint development of Party, government, and Youth League organizations and the integrated advancement of business operations, thereby making positive contributions to helping Shandong Institute achieve even greater successes in the new round of strategic efforts to break new ground in mineral exploration.
