The Party Committee of the Institute (Company) convened a special democratic life meeting on rectification measures following the inspection.

In accordance with the requirements of the Bureau (Group) Party Committee’s inspection-and-rectification work, on November 13, the Institute (Company) Party Committee convened a special democratic life meeting on inspection-and-rectification. Liu Jinkai, Deputy Head of the Second Inspection Team of the Bureau (Group) Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department (Party Organization Department), along with Wang Zijian, a member of the First Inspection Team and from the Comprehensive Supervision Office (Inspection Office), provided oversight of the meeting via video link. The meeting was chaired by Wang Qingfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee, President, and General Manager, and was attended by all members of the Party Committee leadership team.

Prior to the meeting, the Party Committee of the institute (company) attached great importance to the process. In accordance with the inspection team’s feedback and the work plan for the special democratic life meeting, it conducted thorough pre-meeting study sessions, delving into General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on inspection work and the spirit of relevant documents issued by the bureau (group) Party Committee. It also carried out rigorous one‑on‑one, face‑to‑face heart-to-heart talks, extensively solicited opinions and suggestions, proactively acknowledged identified issues, and meticulously prepared materials for self‑examination and对照检查, thereby laying a solid foundation for holding this special democratic life meeting to a high standard.

The meeting reported on the preparations for the special democratic life meeting. Comrade Wang Qingfeng, on behalf of the Party Committee of the Institute (Company), conducted a self-examination and carried out a对照检查, taking the lead in doing so himself. The other members of the leading team then each conducted their own self-examinations and engaged in criticism and self-criticism.

In their concluding remarks, the supervisory team noted that the Party Committee of Shandong Institute attached great importance to conducting this special democratic life meeting, demonstrating a high level of ideological awareness, adherence to procedural standards, and meticulous organizational planning. The self‑examination and analysis materials focused squarely on the inspection feedback, thoroughly identifying problems; the analysis of these issues and their root causes was both accurate and well‑grounded. Moreover, the committee proposed targeted corrective measures tailored to its own work realities and areas of responsibility. Overall, the criticism and self‑criticism were constructive and effective, achieving the intended goals of “blushing and sweating,” aligning thinking, building consensus, fostering unity, and promoting collective progress. The team urged the Party Committee of Shandong Institute to earnestly implement the important speeches and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on inspection work, strictly follow the deployment requirements of the Bureau (Group) for inspection activities, elevate their political stance, and rigorously and pragmatically carry out the rectification of issues identified in the inspection. During the concentrated rectification period, they should strive to deliver tangible, verifiable results across all fronts, while also making full use of the outcomes of the inspection to draw broader lessons, deepen reform, address shortcomings, improve institutional frameworks, and establish long‑term mechanisms—ensuring that the fruits of rectification are truly reflected in enhanced performance and sustained development.

Comrade Wang Qingfeng, on behalf of the Party Committee leadership team, delivered a concluding statement: First, further elevate political awareness and firmly shoulder the responsibility for rectification, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the “two establishments” and resolute adherence to the “two upholds” through thorough and effective corrective measures and concrete actions that advance development. Second, resolutely implement the “dual responsibilities” for exercising full and rigorous Party self‑discipline, fostering a clean and upright environment conducive to dedication and entrepreneurship. Third, strengthen Party organizational building, invigorate the cadre and talent pool, and drive Shandong Institute toward high‑quality development.

Senior management personnel, including the chief engineer and the dean’s assistant, as well as responsible officials from the Party affairs department, attended the meeting in an observer capacity.
