At the Bureau (Group)’s 2024 First-Half Economic Performance Review Meeting held recently, the results of the 2023 operational performance evaluation and the “Mingda Craftsman” selection were announced. Several outstanding individuals and exemplary achievements from our institute were commended at the event.

In the performance appraisal of heads of directly affiliated units, our institute was rated as an A‑level unit and awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Contributor to Patent Work in 2023.” In addition, staff member Meng Linghua was conferred the third‑time “Mingda Craftsman” honor.

In addition, at the 9th Youth Academic Exchange Conference of the China Chemical Geology And Mining Bureau, the papers authored by our institute’s staff members Shu Guangqiang and Duan Najin respectively won the first and second prizes for outstanding papers at the conference, while several other staff members’ papers received excellence awards.

This time, our institute and individual staff members have been honored with multiple awards, which represent high recognition of our institution’s high‑quality development and its efforts in scientific and technological innovation over recent years. Moving forward, we will thoroughly implement the spirit of the Bureau (Group)’s first‑half‑year economic performance analysis meeting and its vision for scientific and technological innovation. Guided by the “One Profit, Five Ratios” indicators, we will remain steadfast in pursuing our annual goals of “One Increase, One Stability, Four Enhancements,” further focusing on our core responsibilities and business priorities, maintaining a problem‑oriented approach, and intensifying reform and innovation. We will align our research initiatives with the Bureau (Group)’s key areas of strategic importance, strengthen refined management, and drive continuous improvements in quality and efficiency. We will resolutely prevent and defuse risks, unite as one across all levels, pool our strengths to tackle tough challenges, and strive to enhance our operational performance. Moreover, we aim to achieve even greater success in advancing scientific and technological achievements, thereby making new contributions to the Bureau (Group)’s high‑quality development.
