On the eve of July 1, Pan Weicai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of our institute, led a delegation to pay visits and extend condolences to several veteran Party members and Korean War veterans, presenting them with holiday gifts as well as the warm care and festive greetings of the Party organization.
The hospital’s leadership and staff engaged in warm, cordial conversations with veteran colleagues and their families, carefully inquiring about their health and living conditions, and patiently provided thorough answers to the concerns they raised.

In addition, the Party Committee of the institute convened a symposium with a group of veteran Party members from Taian District, briefed them on the institute’s production, operations, and other work in the first half of the year, provided feedback on the implementation of corrective measures for issues that had been frequently raised by senior comrades, explained those problems that currently cannot be resolved, and discussed plans to enrich the spiritual and cultural lives of retired colleagues. The veteran Party members expressed their gratitude for the Party Committee’s care and concern, fully commended its proactive approach and work style in addressing and resolving challenges, and particularly praised the series of practical measures the Party Committee has undertaken in recent years—such as providing supplementary medical insurance and installing charging stations in residential areas—and pledged to continue, as always, to closely follow and support the reform and development of the Shandong Institute.
