On the morning of June 28, the Party branch of the Geotechnical Company convened its second-quarter general meeting and held a themed Party Day activity titled “Celebrating Party Members’ Political Birthdays,” fully implementing the directives and requirements of higher-level Party organizations regarding disciplinary education, integrity education, the system of prioritizing key issues, the development of new Party members, and the series of events commemorating July 1.
The meeting implemented the “First Agenda Item” system, during which Comrade Sun Baotao led participants in studying General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important article, “Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Opening-Up to Continuously Inject Strong Momentum into Chinese‑style Modernization,” published in the 10th issue of Qiushi magazine on May 16. The meeting also conveyed and studied the Party Committee’s directives on deepening disciplinary education, upholding strict political life within the Party, and standardizing the use of Party‑building and publicity terminology. All Party members were urged to study and thoroughly grasp these requirements, starting with themselves and attending to every detail, strictly observing disciplinary red lines, and translating the directives of higher‑level Party organizations into concrete actions.
In accordance with the prescribed procedures, the meeting reviewed and deliberated on the matter of admitting Comrade Zhang Jian, a probationary Party member, to full membership. The decision was adopted by secret ballot, with all votes in favor, thereby approving Comrade Zhang Jian’s admission as a full member of the Communist Party of China.
During the Party discipline study and education session, participating Party members and activists watched the cautionary video “Investigate Both Bribery and Bribe-Givers,” which helped them further recognize that, whether they are Party cadres or ordinary citizens, all must remain clear-headed at all times, uphold moral principles and maintain integrity, and work together to foster a clean and harmonious social environment.
Subsequently, the Party branch held its June-themed Party Day event, celebrating the political birthdays of four Party members—Wang Yu Kun, Sun Baotao, Liu Xiande, and Liu Yufeng—who joined the Party in the first half of the year. The branch made careful preparations, presenting them with heartfelt greetings and birthday cards, and encouraging them to keep their Party oath firmly in mind, to hold themselves to the highest standards of Party membership at all times, to remain true to their original aspirations and keep their mission firmly in mind, and to forever uphold the advanced character of Communist Party members.
At the conclusion of the meeting, all Party members solemnly raised their right hands and reaffirmed their oath of admission under the bright red Party flag. Bathed in the radiance of the Party flag, they jointly recalled that unforgettable, sacred, and solemn moment, further strengthening their unwavering faith in striving for the realization of communism.
At the behest of Comrade Wu Weiwei, Secretary of the Party Branch, the meeting was chaired by Comrade Sun Baotao, a member of the branch committee, with Comrade Yin Xiuzhen, an organizer from the Institute’s Party Committee, attending as an observer.
